MRIN-71 Joseph and Kesiah Ball

Joseph and Kesiah Ball

My 6th great grandparents

MRIN-71

Please keep in mind that this is research in progress. I am working on gathering as many of the documents, stories and pictures as possible to put together as much of an accurate story about their lives as I can. Don’t take anything as fact until it is verified.

Joseph Ball

  • Born:
  • Married:
  • Died: possibly before 1806 (his wife gave her mark on permission slips for her daughters to marry. That was usually the father’s position. Kesiah stated that she was the parent and guardian of the girls. A Joseph Ball was named as a witness to both permission slips and signed for the marriage bonds. I believe that Joseph Ball was the son of this Joseph Ball)
  • Age:

  • Buried:
  • Parents:
  • Note: There is a Joseph Ball listed among those captured at the fall of Charleston and held on the prison ship, Torbay, in the Charleston Harbor on 17-18 May 1781. I don’t know what happened to those prisoners. I don’t know if this is THIS Joseph Ball. You can read more about that here.
