My paternal 3rd great grandparents

John James Taylor

  • Born: Oct 1848 in Kentucky
  • Married: Virginia about 1868
  • Died: after 1910 most likely in Illinois. He is last seen in the 1910 census in the household of his son, Earl Taylor. Virginia was in Colorado at their daughter, Nettie’s, home when the census was taken.
  • Buried:
  • Cause of Death:
  • Parents: George A. Taylor and Maranda Washburn

Virginia A. McDaniel

  • Born: Nov 1848 in Indiana
  • Married: John J. Taylor about 1868
  • Died: after 1910. She is last seen in the 1910 census in her daughter, Nettie Ball’s, household in Colorado while her husband was in their son, Earl Taylor’s, household in Illinois. Perhaps she was visiting Nettie at the time the census was taken?

  1. Cam C. Taylor (This may be Charles – if so,  then I am missing a child. Virginia stated in the 1900 census that she had 10 children and that 8 were living at that time)
