Annetta (Taylor) Ball Obituary

NETTIE BALL DIES MONDAY

Funeral services will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. from the First Christain church for Mrs. Nettie Ball, 77-year-old Longmont woman, who died at 11 a.m. Monday at 434 Kimbark street. Rev. E. Lee Williams of Fort Morgan, former pastor of First Christian church in Longmont, will officiate, assisted by Rev. John Newton, present pastor of the church. Interment will be in Mountain View Cemetery. Mrs. Ball, who had been ill since last November was born at Foosland, Illinois, January 26, 1874. She came to Longmont in 1903. A member of First Christian church here, she also belonged to the W.C.T.U., W.B.A. and Great Western club. and was active in church and club work before her health failed. Her home for many years had been at Sugar Factory place, east of Longmont, but she had moved into the city when she was taken ill. Mrs. Ball was hospitalized in Denver for for several months during the past winter. Her husband, the late William T. Ball, was associated with Great Western Sugar company for many years. He died in 1931. Surviving relatives are two sons, Perry E. Ball of Wickenburg, Arizona; and Robert G. Ball, Lafayette, California; two daughters, Mrs. Virginia Haider, Denver, and Mrs. Gladys Carlisle, Somerton, Arizona; five brothers. Cam C. Taylor, Santa Rita, Arizona; Harve E. Taylor, Valley City, North Dakota; George and Earl Taylor, Foosland, Illinios, and Cecil Taylor, Paxton, Illinois; and 15 grandchildren.
